Kat and Me

You may think that Kat and I, Kat does most of the postings.
That’s true. But what you don’t know is, that I sort things out the most.

Akinna is on JJ’s side, and  to tell the truth, we, Kat and I , aren’t on anyone’s side.
We support each other, but that doesn’t mean, no other friends.

Okay, you must be thinking What is this crazy girl doing? First, it’s about this kat and I thing, then Akinna and JJ, and then We support each other but… Wha?!

This is my point. I never burst out.

Physically.
(Kat, you know the truth)
I burst out typing when I want to cry.
But never a post. This is actually the first post in ages
don’t count the one I posted before this one.

Kat and I have simalar minds, and she agrees, we have awesome friends.
But even awesome friends have fights..
And these fights are light volcanic eruptions.

It annoys me and Kat, but it also hurts us.

Uni basically ditched us, and JJ just wants Kat.
It hurts ME.

It is not explainable.
It just isn’t.

Its like that time, where (ask Kat, she know’s this too!) We started chasing this guy named Fred,
and he cried and we got in trouble.

We didn’t really chase him though.

Well this is a long post, so to close it,

That’s me!

Ohlone Village

Ohlone Village

Deer Hollow Farm

It’s super fun. Today my class went there.
We had tons of fun.
I was in a group with Fire Snake (yay!), (Let’s call this guy) Robert and (let’s call this guy) Frank.
It has awesome volunteer ( they don’t get paid ) tour guides. Here are a few names.

Guys:
Ulf (My guide and FS, Rob’s and Frank’s)
Greg (w/ some help from Justin)

Girls:
Sonja (sone-ya) ( Angie’s guide!)
Carla

There are lots of other awesome volunteers, but I don’t remember their names….
Also, me and Angie don’t have these very often ( that’s a joke), but here’s the biggest.
FRIEND DILEMMA ! Or as we say, friendelamma ( frend-a-lama) (note: this is not how dilemma is pronounced).
So today’s friendelamma is with two of our girl friends.
NOTE: This friendalamma is true, but we may have switched the names for their protection.
One, let’s call her Casey and another, let’s call her Tracy.
Now, Casey and Tracy always argue.
ALWAYS!
But not this serious….
Today, Tracy started crying.
Tracy was mad at Casey (as usual).
But that’s not to say that Tracy got mad for no reason..
Trace is kinda sensitive, but Casey kinda provokes her….
I guess Trace and Case went to go to talk to Mrs. R., because of what Tracy told me while we were reviewing Manners Homework (yes, we have manners homework!) .
She said she and Casey weren’t allowed to be near each other.
So she told me to choose one them.
That made me mad.
I said that (and Angie agreed) we could play with Trace sometimes and Case sometimes.
But, Tracy said NO
That, made me furious.
And I had a good reason.
Now, not only was that just plain MEAN, but she was too stubborn.
I was not going to just choose….
I think that Trace said that for a reason.
She (thinks she) knows we’re gonna pick her, and she doesn’t like Casey so she’s happy…
Not to put all the blame on Trace… I mean, we’ve known her for quite a while, and she’s super close and nice to me…. (and super nice to Angie….) She’s great at bunch of stuff, and has a big smile.
Oh, back to what I was saying.
There’s no way I would just drop one of my good friends…..
Angie was about to say, “So who do you choose..”
I said, “I’m not going to choose.”
Angie, of course, being my BFF already agreed.
So we told someone to tell them that.
Tracy never replied.
Maybe she never got the message.
Or maybe she did.
We’ll just have to find out tomorrow.

Going to India

Hey People!

I’m going to India!
It was planned a while ago…
I’m leaving on December 8th.
Even though I’ll be on the other side of the world, I’ll still be able to post.
Plane. I’ll take a plain to get to India.
Trains. In India, I’ll have to take a few trains.
What are you doing during winter break?
TAFN,

P.S. I’ll miss 10 days of school! I’ll get an independent study packet.

Language

I know I’m posting late, but school ends at 3:30, and I’ve got a lot of homework.

Anyways, here are a few things about language.

Language is a strange thing. I was thinking about it last night.
By saying something, another person can understand you.
If someone went up to you, and said, ” ar yoo inn roomm ayteen?”, you could say yes or no or shake/nod your head and they would know what you’re saying. You can pick up on it as a baby by watching people point, or associating words with actions in other ways, but how do you know something you’ve never saw?

Another way language fascinates me is writing (/typing).
I mean look at you…
You’re listening to someone reading this to you or staring at these symbols and getting what I’m saying.
For example, look at the following sentence.

The boy went to school while riding on his pet cow, Larry.
For some odd reason, by looking at this, I bet a boy riding on his cow, Larry popped into your head.
That’s because of language.
Now, look at this ☆.
You might email/text/call your friend and say, ” Hey that’s a star! That’s not a word. How is that language?”.
But don’t forget your using language to say that.

:-(

Before, I had written a marvelous post about yawning and The End (not the end of anything except for the end of The Series of Unfortunate Events). My computer crashed when I tried to upload the back of the book from my scanner, so now I will simply delight you with a completely legal excerpt..

C H A P T E R
  One
If you have ever peeled an onion, then you
know that the first thin, papery layer reveals
another thin, papery layer, and that reveals
another, and another, and before you know it
you have hundreds of thin, papery layers all over the kitchen
table and thousands of tears in your eyes, sorry
that you ever started peeling in the first place
and wishing that you had left the onion alone to
wither on the shelf of the pantry while you
went on with your life, even if it meant never
again enjoying the complicated and overwhelm-
ing taste of this strange and bitter vegetable.

As you may not have noticed, I put those into the EXCACT lines the book re in, right up to that last -.
You might wondering, “What do onions have to do with this utterly confusing book??
Well, dear reader, read on the wonderful series by this wonderful author.
