Hey Peoples!

I’m at Kat’s house writing this, because we hang out together, blah blah blah.

Anyways, I want to say;

I write stories, songs, etc.

Here’s a song;

By my side

When the stars are shining
and the moon is glowing
I have a feeling that you’re by my side.

When I think about you,
I think about the time where we were together, together for life.
and you were by my side,
holding me close to you, holding me close.

When you’re with me,
I feel like I’m floating,
and I glide over the water, into you’re soul, and
I love you, love you forever and ever more.

Like it? That’s my best so far.

Here’s a good, actually okay story;

Palecurse, the ghost horse

By Kristen Shine

(That’s my pen name)

There was a glint in the dark wood. Then a neigh. Liana Pilsworth bit her lip. She was delivering blueberries to her grandmother (those were her grandmother’s favorite) and she had to get through the Wayless woods, And quick! There was another neigh and clicking of horseshoes. Liana moved swiftly around the prickly branches, and stumbled right over a long, brown root of a withering tree. Curse it. Liana thought. Curse it. Curse it. Curse it. The blueberries had spilled. For the third time! Liana thought.

She tried to clean off the dirt with her numb fingers, but as she moved, she squished a few. Drat! Liana picked up her basket and turned to walk the other way. “If you want to go back, follow me.” A soft voice whispered. Liana whipped around and gasped. There was a pale horse, very pale, as pale as the moon on Halloween. “If you want to go back, follow Me.” repeated the horse. He limped slowly to her side. Liana blinked. He looked just like a…a… “I am a ghost.” said the horse, as if reading her thoughts. “A pale ghost, named Palecurse.”

He trailed off, leaving them in silence. He started again.

“I once was a snow white horse belonging to a young girl named Hermione. She treated me with respect, love, and gave me anything I liked. It all was well until I was sold, to a rich merchant. He was cruel and cared nothing about me, only caring for me because he liked rides to the riverbank. One day-” Liana could see tears forming in his eyes. “One day, he was riding and my horseshoe fell off. He didn’t care. The floor was full of sharp and jagged rocks, and I tripped on it. He fell off. When people found us, I had been so badly injured, I was to be shot.” He broke off. “Which brings you to this.”

Liana said. She smiled, admiring the horse’s courage. “Please, won’t you stay with me? I would give you just as much as you’re favorite owner gave you.”

Palecurse smiled a sad little smile. “Ah, if only you could! I only come out on Halloween eve, so we can only be friends.” He hesitated and said “Come along. I will take you to the entrance of the Wayless wood.” He limped forward and Liana followed him. “Visit me, my friend.” Was his last words. Liana watched until he faded in the darkness. Then, dear reader, she headed back to those blueberry bushes.

It’s short, I know, but good? Okay?

Well, tell me by posting a comment on this post!

That’s me!
