It seems like it getting hotter by the minute.......

Today, my brother graduated from 8th grade (or as they said in the speeches, "going from a big fish in a small pond to a small fish in a big pond). Despite the fact that it was burning hot and lasted for two hours, it wasn't that bad! In the beginning, one of the speeches, (since my brother is a wrestler) they mentioned his name kind of like this.

"And the wrestling team this year was great!
The district, league varsity champions : name, name, brother's name, name !!!"

Also, when my brother went to go take a picture with the principal (remember, there's 500 kids ) and he said (and I quote) "Come over here wrestling champ!".

In non-sibling-related news,
TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!

Pool Party

So, I just have to say that the pool party was AWESOME!
First, we walked to the pool ( the walk was almost as fun as the swim!) .
Next, we swam, which was fun!
And after swimming, we had some snacks, ate pizza, swam again and had some cake.
We walked back again, hot and sweaty to class and watched cartoons (no, really!).
So, it was an awesome day.

So, you've probably heard of Radiant Snowbird (or RSnowbird), but today she came up to me and said she had a new nickname.
Tej! (As in tay-j). So I will now refer to RSnowbird as Tej. (Today Tej, Did you know Tej, Tej is so cool!)

!!

I can't believe there's only two more weeks of school!
It's about time! (just kidding!) 
So in the theme of vacations, I go to San Diego quite a bit to visit my cousins (and aunt and uncle) so, in case you're going to SD, here are two "food tips". 
In our area, there's  SAFEWAY. In San Diego, there's VONS. 
Vons is pretty much the EXACT same thing. Same logo, same slogan, they even accept Safeway cards! So it's a safe bet that they're the same chain.
Also, in our area, there is FRESH CHOICE. In San Diego, there's SOUPLANTATION.
I like that name... Souplantation! I don't know about cards and logos and stuff, but in terms of food, appearance and the order of things, they're pretty much the same.

When will I learn??.....

So, today is the beginning of a week (duh!) and today I was SUPPOSED to write something that has to with Tony Wilson (pioneer name) that Fire Snake told me, but I forgot. So FS, tell me again tomorrow! And write it on a sticky note! In other news, sorry for posting so late, but my brother is has been using the computer ALL DAY. Alsom don't forget to study for the pioneer test!

Kat's Current Favorite Song III

So, my new favorite song is .... (cue drumroll) Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol! Yay! Whoo-hoo!
I basically only know the chorus (well, I know the tune of the rest..), but it's a great song. So, in other not-song-related news, umm.. showcase projects due tomorrow!

Not Good.

I wanted to play basketball!

I go to Dani's every Friday because her mom's my piano teacher but I usually stay an hour late to hang out.

We sometimes write our play, I thought you were my friend! or act it out but usually, we make graphics for stuff.

Next blog-material thing we make, I'm posting!

Also, instead of writing Kat, I used to sign off as a pic of a cat I drew on a Windows (I used it back then).

Friday, we had a Sub(stitute).

Not very nice most of the time.

Our teacher, Mrs. R. had to take care of her baby, Carina R.R. because her day care was CLOSED!

The OTHER Mrs. R, our sub was sometimes niceish.

Isn't weird to see how you've changed in a long time?

Like a time capsule...

I got a journal from one of my friends (thanks Brownie!) for my b-day, so in an entry I wrote where I expected to be in five years. I like that kind of stuff...

Back to the topic (if I had one..).

So, yay! Today was the last day of star testing! So, to celebrate, I'll end this post quickly to spare you some reading and give you time to do something fun(er). Do something entertaining for the next few minutes you would normally use reading this blog.

Blah!

You might have noticed I wasn't at school today. If you didn't you
aren't in my class (or you're crazy).
So yeah, I was sick. But, I MISSED STAT TESTING! Wahh!! But, they'll
be make ups (But still, wah!) I feel better already, so I'll probably
be in school tomorrow.
In other news, I'm in my pajamas.
I really like them. They're green and pink camouflage with little
strawberries all over them.
